I thought Pete's undies were going up the flagpole because the Blues won.

Ok I leave for Australia on Saturday night, and the week before we get to astrofest will be spending a few days in the Uluru/alice springs area, hopefully that'll also be quite dark... getting quite excited now...

You're going to have a great time Rishi. How many sleeps to go before you jet off?

7 sleeps to go, already starting to compile lists. Observing targets, equipment, things to buy, food, camping gear, downloads, uni work for the daylight hours etc. etc. The poor old jeep is going to be stacked.

WooHoo starting to get excited I will finally get to meet people from the forum.

Just checked the route and discovered we (MargF and I) have to drive 247,577.58 Smoots to be there .

I'm not sure how i will cope without the web for a week :sadeyes : but it will be worth it to finally focus and get some work done. I am hoping to get a fair chunk of uni away for the semester and maybe have a bit of a play with registax if i get my hands on a nikon t ring before then. Might be an excuse to go shopping . So much to do and so little time to do it. have to set the up tomorrow and make sure all the bits are still there.
