5 minute M8

It's Sagittarius season, isn't it! I see lots of M8's coming up - so here's another.

Just a quick stack of 3x5-minute subs to test out the new focal reducer.

Tak FS-102@f/6 and 350D 300-sec@ISO400

Thanks Michael

No, I have a couple of others too, but have decided that I don't actually want to modify it. I prefer a range of colours rather than have an over-abundance of red. I also have an SBIG mono camera which I use to generate an extra luminance channel which, on occasion, I'll merge with RGB from the 350D.

Agree with the point you raise here Chris. We're more than happy with the range of colour we get with our 40D and don't intend to modify at this stage either.
