Festival of Light-The Otherside

Festival of light on Friday night from Lady Macquarie's Chair chair east side of Opera House.
Images were 8sec @ 200 ISO 17 -125mm Sigma lense on Pentax K20D camera. The last ones I'll take before upgrading to the new Pentax K7.
Last picture is the projector used.

Ah, so, on that side, the light is projected from Lady Macquarie's Chair? What about the other side? Is it from somewhere near the bridge?

Nice photos, thanks. The water is running a bit downhill in the second

Despite all that yukky light pollution, a terrific portfolio of photos Chris. Once again, thanks for sharing some of the beauty of this part of Sydney with non-Sydney siders!

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks to David - Gary - Dennis & Eric for your comments.
Sorry about the water run ning down hill, I will be able to correct this in camera with the K7 in the future .
Not sure where the projector was for the otherside so RB might be able to put some light on that.

Thanks again

A very nice series of photos Chris from a beautiful vantage point, one that I've never tried from.

It really was an exciting festival.

The projector for the other side was on the top level of the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Thanks Andrew. I got to see it from a high elevation point in the city (40 somethingth floor) and there was a debate as to how the west side was being lit.
