Yes the NJP mount is incredible, it chases the seeing very well even the witch head nebula image I did at Wiruna last year was taken in amazing ly bad conditions of high wind and bad seeing but mate watching the star centroid plot was incredible it just wouldn't let the star get away I feel pretty lucky really

As it turns out I have a KAF8300 coming my way soon. If I win the lotto I will look at getting either the FLI or STL, but for now it will have to be the QSI. I like being an early adopter of new technology. Once I get the new camera I can do the shrek colours too. What colours was Martin doing with his entry from last years DM awards? Looks like his filters were different??

Yeah I love the EM's performance too. Bullet proof guiding, once you get rid of that nasty differential flexure. Still got some of that from time to time, but that will disappear once I get the new camera.

Mate there is no limit to the mix of colours you just have to experiment, I haven't taken enough exposure in the SII and OIII yet so the Ha is dominant, but then again it is anyway so if you asign it to green then the nebula will be greenish for sure

Yep watching a guide star stay well within a 1 pixel radius circle all night is almost better than the imaging....it's orgasmic even
