The southern circumpolar sky is considered to be a drab area.
There is however the faint Chameleon I association. Within this extensive area is the reflection nebula IC 2631 which makes an interesting contrast with the dust from the association.
I'm not sure if IC 2631 is part of the association or is a foreground object.
