We took the kids camping last weekend, to Mt Mee north of Brisbane. This was the first time sleeping in a tent for the kids, so lots of excitement! We got lucky with the weather, because it's pouring with rain this morning.
Here are a few photos from the trip. Neurum Creek is near the campground, and there were several good short walks in the area.
It looks like you all had a cracker of a time under canvas – I trust the kids enjoyed their big adventure. Your photos make it look a very tranquil place and the camp fire shot is a classic!
Beautiful pictures, as usual.
We used to go camping all the time with our kids. Great fun!
Thanks Jeanette. I guess Mt Mee is just down the road from you.

Thanks Dennis, and yes, the kids are looking forward to the next camping trip! That "campfire" shot is actually just a candle - we didn't take any firewood on this trip, but will make sure we do next time.
LOL! Thanks Stephen! What is that bug-eyed creature just above the candle? It looks like a frog up on its forelegs, with huge eyes!
Cheers
Dennis
Yes Dennis, it is a frog. Its name is "Good Frog", and it goes everywhere with my son! It's actually a very well travelled frog - it's been all the way to Europe and back!
Bet your glad you didn't leave it until this weekend Stephen!
Beautiful spot - we stumbled upon it on a day trip last year, but with 2 young children couldn't explore too far. The old sawmill shed was fascinating.....

Not wrong Rob - we've had 155mm on the last 12 hrs, and 287mm in the last 48 hrs! There's about 6 or 8 km of unsealed road to get in to Neurum Creek campsite, and my little Astra would struggle in this weather!
