Jupiter + Io Morning of 14th May

Hi All,

Captured 9 sets of R, G & B avi's this morning. Was up at 3:30 am CST and imaging by 4:00 CST. I still cannot seem to strike good seeing in the morning for Jupiter, seeing was about 6/10 and improved toward dawn,

Attached is the best of the RGB images with the GRS and Io.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor

Nice smooth image, Trevor. I reckon some gamma adjustment could bring out some contrast and make the image pop a bit more. Maybe some saturation boost too.

It's a fine image of the GRS and lovely to see Io about to transit.

I agree.
What a lovely image and very smooth Trevor.

A little bit more contrast and it will be a corker.

Well done Trev, a good image nonetheless, you can't control the seeing.

cheers, Bird

Still good Trevor, a bit more contrast could help, as others have said.

Windy and cloudy here so no chance for any images.

Thanks Lester, had a look at the jet stream and satellite map last night and it looked like the last chance for a while to have a go at Jupiter this morning, seems like some wind and unsettled weather is on the way, you are probably already experiencing it.

Thanks Mike, had another bit of a play with it when I came home tonight from my astronomy group. Have attached it to this post.
