Well good things come to those who wait. It has taken near the whole apparition but I finally got an image of a Titan shadow transit. The seeing was not that great but everything can be seen. One thing is for certain, Saturn is getting very dim now. The blue channel was maxed out on gain and the slowest possible exposure rate and on 7.9fps and it was still only 40% of the total allowable histogram.

Very nice image, as usual Paul.
I suppose the longer FL is the problem with exposure and fps.
The seeing up here in the Hill was very good tonight.
Glad you were able to image the shadow transit, a most excellent result indeed.

I processed another set from earlier when the seeing was slightly better. I processed it a little harder too. It looks a little speckled on my LCD, but generally pretty happy with the image.

Another beauty Paul, definitely sharper but I think the colours in the first image are more pronounced and look better. It is spitting hairs to pick between them and I most definitely am not qualified to offer a critique on your work.

How many RGB's did you capture? I reckon a few of these would look great in an animation.
