No image download from Canon 300D and AA4

Is anyone successfully controlling and downloading images from their Canon 300D using AstroArt4sp2???
If so, can you share details of your camera and AA4 settings?
I can't seem to get an image to download from the camera. I'm using the latest Canon.dll's ( tried V1.7 and V1.9); the camera exposes OK ie the controls work, but no image downloads???
( Everything works as usual with the 350D?????!!!!!!)
Any help appreciated...

Not used AA4, but with DSLR focus you need to install the WIA driver for the 300D. 350D one is different and won't work with the earlier model.

Bill,
I've downloaded the latest WIA for the 300D, and it works 100% under the Canon Utility V2.4.
I now find under AA4 if I use the canon V1.9 dll's and install the 350D FIRST, then uninstall and put in the 300D, I can get maybe one image in four to download!!! very strange!!

You got me. Seems like the problem is with AA4. Must be some sort of conflict with the programs. Try a different prog, like DSLR focus and see how it goes.

Hi Ken
Do you have the old AA3? I went from AA2 to AA3, as an upgrade, and found that (with the QHY8) that the drivers etc got stored in the AA2 folder, when in fact they needed to be in the AA3 folder (maybe as well).
Now I have a Sony DSLR I am snookered as they are not recognised by AA, darn.
