Spooky Stuff

i took this pics within five seconds of each other,i was in a hurry
it wasnt till i got home till i noticed something strange in bottom left
of second pic

i have no idea what is the ladies at the local "angel club" said its
"spirt breath", and i was very luckey to get that pic.

now i dont want to scare anyone with this pic,as i have showed
a few people and they really freaked out,sme of these people included
astronomers, i didnt mean for that to happin,i would like some explenation
as to what it is,or isnt

the cemetary is on Taromeo Station [cattle property] its very old
in the middle of the bush

the camera was cannon 300D in perfect condition

look forward to your theories on this "phenomenon"?

Perhaps a bird flying by. Or something blowing by?

See attached with dark blur that confused me for a while, until I made out the beak, wings....

Judging by the angle of the sun, my guess is that you've caught some lens flare resulting from sunlight on the front element of your lens.

Chris,
Lens flare is what first came to mind.
But Erics explanation seems good too, something blowing by close to the lens.

Or it could be ectoplasm.

Do you have a protective UV/IR filter fitted to the lens? I have generally found these to be the main contributor to producing such ghosting type reflections when pointing close to a bright light source on the axis of the lens.

Cheers

Dennis

No lens filter was used,i dont own any yet,

i took a large number of pics on the same, and similar angle.
no other sign of anything like that in those,

i have seen lens flare before, and it doesnt appear like that

i havent manipulated the photo in any way, apart fm reducing
to go on ice in space

even if i waned to manipulate photo,i wouldnt have a clue.ask people
who know me,i make Mr Magoo look like Bill Gates, when it comes to
computer use,it takes me half an hour to get on the internet

so its no hoaks

Can we get a larger image zoom in of the area in question?

Perhaps it was a falling leaf close the the lens..

Hi Chris,

Looks like its a finger print on the lens to me, although ectoplasm or the LMC also sound good.

Cheers
