Hi all, new to these forums (obviously) and recently ordered my first 'real' scope (Meade 8" Lightbridge dob) and am hopeing it arrives by this long weekend. Anyway, these forums look great and its good to see such a large Aussie community. I look forward to much posting

great scope .. very small and compact.. The owner of the one I saw had it on a small stool .. seated and comfortable viewing is how it looked

I too know what the waiting game is like. I'm still waiting for my Sky-Watcher 12" Dobsonian to arrive. I bought it last Monday week.
