Hi All

Here is an image from 1st April .... taken with my usual setup.

3x1200sec plus 6x600sec ( total 2 hours )

I hope it looks alright on your monitor .... had to adjust it when transfered from laptop to desktop.



have just added adjusted image ..............

Maybe a transfer problem, but doesn't look like your usual standard on my Mac.

Hi Steve,
yes, detail looks good but the overall colour of the galaxy and larger stars have a magenta appearance to them.

Bit of adjustment in PS and you're there.

Thanks guys ... I've adjusted down the magenta and red a bit ... does it look better now ?

Hi Steve, a very nice image indeed. Very sharp with good detail.

This galaxy always reminds of a dog bone for some reason.

The first post was very majenta on our monitor Steve the repro certainly toned it down quite a bit

Thanks guys ... on my laptop it looks fine then I copy it over and it always seems to look more red ... oh for uniformity. I like to stack on my laptop because it's has a dual processor and does the job much faster in DSS using both. Guess I should start copying over to my desktop before I process in PS in future.

the repro looks better with some stars nicely white while others show their true colors
well done
you can make out other galaxies in the background
very cool
