Interesting to see the sky turn blue at night when the lightning gets bright enough...

I used 10 to 30 second exposures mate. When the lightning flashed, I closed the shutter and opened another one. I took about 90 frames and only got these four with decent lightning in them.

It was briefly quite fierce, but didn't have a lot in it.

Great shots Baz.

I was indoors in a noisy environment so I missed all the action. The rain was very welcome, its been rather dry and crunchy underfoot for quite some time now.
