Source of eyepiece caps and cases?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a few 1.25" and 2" eyepiece caps and cases. Now I'm getting serious I really should take a bit more care of my gear, even the old bits and pieces that have been rattling around for years!

Thanks
Chris

Good thanks Peter.
Since I bought a CG4 mount recently I've been using my 90mm F5 refractor mostly, which doesn't really take high magnification very well, so I haven't used it a great deal. It's great for wide star fields but not much good on the planets. But the smaller scope with the good mount is giving me better views than my ATM dob and is so much quicker to set up that it just gets used all the time!
I'm waiting on a 127mm x 1200mm fl objective from Surplus Shed. I'm thinking the longer focal length will make the telextender more useful.
Cheers
Chris

It's Danny John-Jules aka the Cat!...from the Red Dwarf series! One of his better poses nonetheless!

Eyepiece

Hi Chris, very new to all this but interested, just found this site and newly registered..... saw your post and as we're almost neighbors - we're in Macedon - thought I'd contact you for some info if ok with you.

I recently bought a secondhand Bushmaster SE76700 and found it needs an eyepiece, finding it hard to track down... do you have any lead to offer?

Much appreciated

Hi Margaret,

I suggest you contact some of the telescope retailers mentioned in the 'links' section on this site, http://www.iceinspace.com.au/links.html

Or do a Google search on the make and model of your scope, that should highlight those retailers who stock your brand of scope.

Regards
Chris

David, I did find them on the Bintel site, but I've just had another look and can't find them either!
I know they were selling them for $3.00 each, which I reckon is a bit rich.
Add postage and you're looking at some very expensive bits of plastic!

I've decided to spend some time improving my eyepiece case to provide the necessary protection.
It will also save fiddling around in the dark extracting and re-storing them in the plastic cases, and I don't have to spend any money!.
