Saturn 25 March 2009

Some excellent seeing here tonight and I was fortunate to capture Saturn with Tethys and Dione.

Saturn is very difficult to process this year, so little light to illuminate the planet. Pretty happy with this image though.

Lovely image Paul,

Even the F ring is discernible.
Plenty of structure within the bands and the colour looks very natural.

Overall a very smooth image at an excellent image scale.
Extremely well done.

Regards
Trevor

That's a fantastic image, love the image scale and the colour rendition.
Amongst the best I've seen from this season.

Beautiful result Paul.
I noticed the seeing on the night of 25/26 here in southern Adelaide
pretty awesome too.
PS: I noticed your image says 2237 Local Time...the seeing after
midnight was even better!

Your image is astounding!

Steve
