CWAS Astrofest - David Malin Awards for 2009

Taking place this year on the 18-19 July 2009.

Categories for the competition are:
- Amateur - Wide-Field, Deep Sky and Solar System Objects
- Semi-Professional
- Junior (16 or under)
- Open - "Twilight"
- The David Malin Innovation Prize

Should be great fun!

I'm glad it's a week later this year - I've got a work conference in Brisbane the weekend before, and last year it was on the weekend of my wife's birthday!

I hope to make it out there this year, always great to catch up with such talented astrophotographers our country has to offer.
