March moon pics from a noob

Hi everyone, I've been stuck on day-shift for the past month which really put a damper on the astronomy. I did manage to get some moon stuff done so here are some examples. The 2 creators are Mare Crisium and Mare Imbrium.

Please feel free to criticize. I have very thick skin

How light was it when the #3 image was taken?

The last two images are very nice, definately my favourites!

Thanks for the comments everyone, no bad reviews there, i must be getting better. for the daylight shot the sun was well up but i was hidden in the shade behind the house. it was shortly after 7am.

Hi Jason,
Well done, I like the first two the best, probably the 2nd is my favorite.
It is very difficult to do justice to an image of the full Moon. There is always the compromise to be made with the exposure, trying not to over expose the region around Tyco without the dark areas becoming black.

I think the second image is the best because of how you have juggled the exposure to present both the brighter and darker regions in such a pleasing manner.

A nice set of images other than the last one, which to me is not quite in focus.

Trevor I have been looking for a way to fix this broblem, so far it looks like an expensive contrast or transmission filter might be the way, but im realy not sure
