Talking Exercise for the over 40's

I thought this was quite funny
Subject: Fw: Exercise for over 40s

>
>>> EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 40's:
>>>
>>> Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of
>>> room at each side.
>>>
>>> With a 5-kg potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out
>> from
>>> your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full
>>> minute, and then relax.
>>>
>>> Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit
>>> longer.
>>>
>>> After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-kg potato sacks.
>>>
>>> Then try 50-kg potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where
>> you
>>> can lift a 100-kg potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight
>>> for more than a full minute. (I'm already at this level.)
>>>
>>> After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the
>>> sacks.....
>>>

I don't need that sort of exercise.

Is there anyone else besides me who can lift a 12" LX200 GPS 2 metres off the ground and place it on a wedge with one hand.

No! Its true. I once had a one armed man ask how he could mount a 8" SCT so I tested my method. I can do it completely with one arm. Of course I use my jib crane that plumbs the mount. I can fasten the cradle, undo and do up the bolts, work the winch and either lift the scope off or on the wedge using only one arm!

Exercise is over rated a recent T shirt I read on a guy said

"Eat Well
Stay Fat
Die anyway"

when I was growing up obesity was never an issue we never had

HD TV
Computers
video games
ipods
mobile phones
McDonalds
parents that drove us everywhere

what we had were legs and imagination

Cheers

Baz,please enlighten me how heavy is an LX200 12"?
Looking at what Mike was lifting, I don't think he would have to much trouble with the 12"0TA
