I thought I would have a go at this object on Friday night as well so took 3 x 5 Min lights at ISO 800 Canon 400d and then the clouds rolled in so I thought I would take some darks until the clouds cleared. After 6 darks no clearing so this is all I got. Taken though a Williams Optics FLT 110 and guided through PHD Guiding and stacked in DSS and processed in PS CS3. I know I need a lot more lights but if there is any advice that can be given re processing, although not much data to work with, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all. Yes a field flattener would be great but also fine weather. Not to worry with the moon full however a friend of mine received his new telescope on the day they named cyclone Hamish. We now have someone to blame.
