Rainbow over my observatory !

Yesterday we had thunderstorms here and we had a beautiful rainbow stretching across the valley.

I'll have to see if there's a pot of gold in my observatory.

Here's a link to some of my other photography from a while ago ...........

Yeah it's a pretty good spot alright Mike ... although it can get windy on the top of the hill ... but when it's calm it's magnificent ... so much sky and very few lights.

Probably Odille ... I only have my mount setup in there permanently at the moment with a large plastic bag over it.

It's been a pretty dry summer but we've had a few storms of late with a bit of rain Kev. Hopefully more to come as I only have rainwater ... no mains water here. Rainwater is great though ... no chlorine, flouride, rust and whatever else is in mains piped water supplies.

Steve,

Framing, composition, lighting, depth-of-field.

Check for each one. Excellent work.

Very envious of your location! Do you have to worry about snakes or scorpions and the like?

Regards,
Humayun
