False satellite of Venus

On day 14 january, at 15h01m U.T. Venus will be at only 0.0167° from the star lambda Aqr of mag 3.8

That time is 01:01 AM Thursday morning in Queensland Australia, but Lambda is still pretty close before it sets at 11:23 UT 21:23 AEST on Wednesday in Australia time

False satellite of Jupiter

The next event is with the false satellite of Jupiter: on day 22 the planet will be at only 31" from the star 19 Cap of magnitude 5.9. The maximum approach at 14.35h U.T.
