Thes two show where part of my staple TV diet in the 1960-1970 period.

Yep, two good'uns and original shows there, I recently bought the CD box set of Prisoner.

I made a visit to Portmeirion many years ago - fascinating place.

Just finished reading a bio of Leo McKern. The role he played in Prisoner was one of the few that really disturbed him in real life.

I bought the Prisoner box set a couple of years ago. Absolutely love it, although it still baffles me as much as when I first saw it on tele as a young fella.
I also remember Patrick Mc Goohan in the original Scanners film.
Apparently he gave up acting some years ago, deciding that the life of an actor was all a bit silly.
Pity!
