Lovely Dave, the wide shot with the smiley looking through the clouds over the lake is a beauty!

Wonder how many shots of this event will be sent to the David Malin Awards next year???

well some masking, noise processing, deconvolution, and wavelts processing together with artistic license and borrowing one of the other peoples shot who posted i might have a chance

Funnily enough I only do the last bit, the rest is for making fake doctored images

I think there have been plenty of versions of the smiley face taken at "Twilight" ..?

reprocessed image

I splurged on Noise Ninja just to keep the world economy going, all i can say is WOW what a difference milo makes........... oh and processing from RAW files, best 130 dollars I have spent (this week) Mcnaught will get a completely reprocessing from me with noise ninja..........

I mean......Wow...what a stunning photo, that's awesome mate.
The colour is fantastic.

So you reckon NNinja is good huh?
I'll have to give it a try, I've always wanted to.
Maybe Neat Image is a little dated now, I'll see how they compare.

it is reasonably easy to use - well i used it so there that says it all

you can trial it but it sticks watermarks all over your image when your done

I was going to say the other day that you should put a little more care into your processing, including noise reduction.

I use Noiseware Pro.
