Suns "Surface" ?

OK ... this one has been floating around for a while.
A website that is linked from heavens-above & universe today sites, claims that the sun has a "calcium Ferrite solid surface" that conducts electricity.

Any thoughts on this ? ... seems a bit dodgy to me

I agree Ian , dodgy at the least.

As long as they dont tell us they've found life on the Sun.

They are actually called Solavians and they live on the Dark side of the Sun!

hehe solarians my fav trivia of the many the sun has, is that it contains a fair amount of water amongst its makeup composition (as compressed steam i presume?) now that would be the definition of torture if you were a water molecule! thats up there with the colossul clouds of vinegar and other weird things in the universe
