I am going to test the fridge on the SN10 tonight. The poor old EQ6 is really loaded. I cant feel any vibration from the fans in the OTA. Only a few exposures will let me know.

Looks good Bert; original no doubt and most certainly quite unique! Good luck with the inaugural test run. Reminds me a little of the prototype Apollo 13 filter cartridge, lashed together to scrub the air of CO2! LOL!

Holly cow! that looks so big hanging on the side, That timber should hold most of it rather steady but! Never had a problem with fan vibration with the camera/OTA so it shouldn`t be a problem. Have fun!

Here is a four minute exposure with LPR filter at 800 iso straight out of the camera. IE no darks or flats. Fridge at -10.0C. Vibration is not a problem. So far so good.

Fantastic result Bert :-) I tried to play with curves a bit and at the end it really does not look like being shot from Melbourne :-)
What kind of LPR you are using?

I always use a Hutech as I have found they pass more usable spectrum. See below a sample of the filter data plot which is shipped with each filter.

Here is a HDR colour image. Exposures 10x(1m,2m,4m and 8m ) at 800ISO.

Will put up a full resolution in Deep Sky enhanced with NB data.
