Mosaic Moon - DMKAU2104.AS - 13112008

First Full Moon mosaic with DMK. 17km/h wind, light cloud.
Slight misalignment and bit blurry due to the wind.

Nice work! The colour looks a bit odd but a fine effort on an almost full moon.

Thx Mike. Yeah the colour is a bit off from Gain/Exposure settings I used in ICCapture.
Played with it a bit more; saturation, unsharpen mask..

Nice shot Daniel Full moon is a real bugga to capture. Haven't tried it recently with a webcam myself, and there's certainly more involved in comparison to a single-frame DSLR shot. Well done!

I'll be giving this a go sometime (if the sky clears) DBK+C11 @ F/6.3... It will take a lot of panels, but hopefully it will work out.

Here's a challenge...

Hold on to your seat !

This is apparently a mosaic of 12 shots through a 9" f/3 Maksutov made by Santel. Data on these scopes is scarce but it seems they are very very good optically.

I would have to agree.. it would have to be pretty special optically to produce such an image...
