Hi Emanuele,

Some nice detail coming out in that photo! Is this a single shot or a stack of multiple? What shutter speed were you using?

Nice tonal range and contrast. Is that the full-crop from your conjunction image?

Thanks Troy and Mike!

This is a stack of 3 RAW images per hemisphere.
Mike: I have used my 4X Powermate on this one. But it was taken the same night as the others!

Emanuele,

Very pleasing to the eye! May I ask what software you used to process and stack the RAW images? I've used Registax v4 in the past however it doesn't recognize the Canon RAW format so have to downgrade to JPEG to stack.

HI troy!
Thank you again!
I'm using Photoshop CS3. I'm on OSX Leopard. I work directly with RAW on Photoshop! I blend (normal blend) the layers on top of each other using 50% blending for the first one and then 25% for the next and 12.5% and so on!
