you are not wrong in saying that. I have never mixed the family and astronomy before - this is an experiment that (if lightning added)could create a monster or create an understanding of what I like and probably is the best example of the company I keep .

She has never been camping - and this offers hot showers and clean toilets. So she gets to see a mob of obsessed astronuts - LOL - Oh no Michael from bintel is bringing me some astro goodies might have to head that one off from the pass - oh and secretly get those serial usb connectors from Gary when she isnt looking astro wife dollars are 1/10 ratio

How's the weather looking for Lostock?

I've already made my sacrifices to the astromony gods.

Don't worry Dave, we'll talk in Hundreds instead of thousands.

With the company you keep Dave you're wife will have a more than enjoyable time. We'll be on our best behaviour.

One astro dollar/n = 1 wife dollar

where n varies from 1 to 10 depending on what you can get away with

Ha, same equation just reversed....

For every dollar you spend on astro gear he gets to spend 1/n th of it on his own hobby.

But even better, he gets to pay for whatever you sepnd!

So support the economy, and spend, spend, spend...

4 days out and the prediction is rain, thunderstorms and cloud Thurs, Fri and Sat

I've had luck with star parties and dark sky nights, always a clear night or two or even three... sooooooo ya never know..? (not a good feeling about this one though..?)

Might have to all stay in Daves tent (or shirt?) and listen to him snore above the rain...?

Mike

I must really have a good deodorant

to be quite honest i have shielded her a bit. I suspect it will be quite an education her meeting you lot. She has briefly met Mike Salway, Mike Sidonio, of course knows Alan quite well, but as for you others - men and women of mystery

I am telling you this is as non-astronomer as one person can get (axe murderer class) so this is quite an achievement for her, and me I can only hope some of the, err, unbased rumours of shady purchases and err um deals never um happened to my knowledge. I will of course deny everything

on a brighter note tonights weather predicted thursday to be fine and clear
