Hi
Friday night after the NAS meeting I captured this
Seeing wasnt the best, and as there was a little breeze I didnt use my dew/light shield and some stray light got in so had to manually get rid of it from the background, but here it is.

5 x 10 mins ISO200. uv/ir filter only, MPCC coma corrector, Modded 350D camera. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian.
Its a hard thing to see, tried to see it at Kincumber nature reserve last night with the NAS's 12 inch scope but couldnt.

Agreed, I attempted to look for it last night with my 10" GSO newt under reasonable skies + new moon and failed. however, I'm sure it was in the field of view

I remember the first time I found this one in the 10"er. I was looking right at it and didnt see it until I tapped the tube and registered some movement.
Then it popped out and I wondered how I could have NOT seen it.

It a largish low brightness object, so use a lowish power eyepiece. I doubt you will see it if theres any LP present .

Its about 3.8 minutes in diameter. I must try a O3 filter to see it visually next time
