Pushing a DSLR & seeing to the limits

More moon fun around the Appenines and Copernicus - uncropped.

Tak FS-102, TeleVue 5X PowerMate, GSO 2x Barlow, Canon 350D @ISO400 for 1/4 second single frame.

The second image looks a bit sharper than the first, both are still very nice.

Yep - the Tak is fantastic - and these two shots use BOTH a 5x AND 2x barlow in series. There's some pretty weird optics for ya!

Picked up those domes in the second snap really well. The seeing was amazing just before the clouds came in tonight.

Thanks fellas Not a bad outcome for a DSLR on the end of two consecutive barlows. The conditions were very good.
