I'll second that comment about the nice detail around the terminator.

I can also see a hint of colour which makes it more interesting as well.

Keep it up Trevor.

Looks nice and sharp for an afocal shot Trevor. Better than my quick hand-held effort at about the same time, while waiting for Ganymede to emerge from Jupiter's shadow - I was aiming to get the 4.6 mag star b Sco in the shot as well (just right and below the moon). Did you catch the occultation of 5.85 mag 3 Sco a bit later Trevor? Looked nice through the scope.

Cheers,
Stephen

No actually this ones by Leo Marriott lot of pictures more a coffee table book except the books 600mm x 400mm x 25mm thick so you'd need a really big coffee table

cheers

I actually got that book today Trevor ,(the Leo Marriott one), as a gift.
Fabulous book. Some of the pictures look like they need at least a two
page spread of A3...making I suppose an A2.
One of M51 shown that way is the most stunning presentation of that
galaxy I have seen.

I'd recommend anyone to at least treat your eyeballs to the equivalent
of a full body massage and check it out in a bookshop!

I just have to work out where I can store it...it's huge!

Steve
