Hi Guys

We can't make it on Thursday due to a family visit, so hope you guys have a great time.

Enjoy the 100-400mm Tony and remember, expose to the right, squeeze that shutter release slowly as you breathe out and check the histogram!

Cheers

Dennis

Judging by the amount of Brisbane Photographers we have here, I'm sure we could organize a semi-regular once a month/once a fortnight if demand is high enough IIS Photography day...

I'd probably be in for an early morning weekend outing now and then. I'll have to pass this Thursday - hope it goes well for all involved.

Cheers,
Stephen

No worries Stephen, we realise a mid week outing is not going to be as popular as the weekend, looks like there is a few interested so thats a good sign.

Did you get your 100-400L today Tony? I'll be interested to see it Thursday if you did... Judging by what I've seen they look a lot heavier than the 400 5.6 prime

Alex the 100-400 is similar in size and weight to my 70-200 F2.8 the 400 prime are definetly lighter and more suited to cary for long period of times.

I will bring the 100-400 tomorrow.

Hi All,

I'm thinking of tagging along tomorrow at Mt Coot-tha if that's ok.

I've been there a lot with my boys, it's a great spot even if raining.

I have had some Pm's over today's imaging day and just wanted to say I would have given you all my mobile number just for back up but due to being on holidays my mobile is being diverted to work so I am not contactable my mobile...believe me this is a good thing regarding answering work calls.

Anyway cant wait to do some imaging today and to meet a few more of you guy's & girls.....sounds like we have 5-6 of us now....thats great.

As for the members that have to work well better luck next time...lol but we will organise a weekend day as this will be more accessible for those who consider work more of a priority then an Imaging day.

Boy I love holidays.
