Not that many entries this time but an exciting round none the less.

Congratulations to Entry # 1 by Robert_T - "Shadows of the Past", an excellent take on the theme.
Well done Rob and to all the entries, a nice variety there.

Rob you get to pick this month's theme so what would you like it to be?

Here's the list:

Entry #1 - Robert_T
Entry #2 - ving
Entry #3 - Sharnbrook
Entry #4 - Ric
Entry #5 - Dennis
Entry #6 - firstlight
Entry #7 - RB

Congratulations Robert! Well deserved!

And well done to the other entrants, all good entries! ...as for me, I wasn't able to get my act together this month...

I've noticed that if the first picture up is a really good one, the number of entries is low.

Congratulations Robert – an excellent photo indeed. Although the entries were a little down this month, I still really enjoyed looking at everyone’s interpretation which forms a large part of why I enjoy the stimulation of the monthly comp.

Cheers

Perfect for the topic.

An excellent portrait Robert, well done. There was obviously a bit of a late flurry of voting when people arrived home from the Qld Astrofest.

It's interesting to note that some of the 25 voters only looked at the thumbnails, and didn't open the full views, as a number of entries had well under 25 views.

Yeah, it could be. I know I struggled to find anything I thought suitable in my collection, and conditions and opportunities conspired against me as far as getting a new shot and entering it. I don't let anyone else's image stop me from entering either. It may just be coincidence that the obscure topics force people to take a photo especially and so to be a bit more creative....

"Love" is what we need

Thanks all for the kind words, my dear ol' Dad (the subject of this portrait) will be chuffed when he hears that he's now famous

I was thinking maybe something little more open would attract some more entries for the next round... I've tossed around a few ideas in my mind, but decided on "Love"... it could mean so many things to so many people

cheers guys,

Rob

Tch, tch, tch, boys – I think that Robert was hoping to see more romantic, pure, tender and altruistic themes running through entries for the month! LOL!

Cheers
