Last night was superb Jen 11.4 c at 10.00pm when i got back home , I tried for the first time Starklers ( Geoff ) 7mm orthoscopic ( from IT classifieds )pointed at Jupiter and it was sensational red spot clearly outstanding also The zodiacal light didnt dissapear and it was still there in the west till i called it a night.

No need to tell you the others we observed but tonight we will do it all over again....cheers Kev.

Stuck my head out at around midnight and there wasn't a cloud in the sky, moon was on the rise tho
Was looking good for tonight but have just seen a large bank of cloud in the NW, dunno which direction it's headed.

Edit: Hmm seems to be moving from W to E, gonna be a night inside again.

clearest night in brisbane we've had in a week... shame the seeing is ruined by the typical brisbane jetstream map....

Trying to image jupiter... looks more like a bowl of raspberry jelly..

Geez Kev, what a lovely horizon.

I didn't set up last night because it was clouded and as usual it cleared so I sat outside with a nice glass of red and did some good stargazing. A nice back to basics evening.
