3:30am - North Brisbane Morning Mist...

After heading to bed due to cloud cover, I set my alarm for 3am in the hopes of walking outside, seeing clear skies and with any luck, set up shop and run off a few Jupiter AVI's.

Here is what I got instead......

1st shot, straight out of the camera (350D + 18-55 kit lens)
2nd shot, HDR of 6 varying exposures from 1sec - 17sec @ f/8, same camera/lens combo as mentioned.

Its 4am now, and my HDR skills at this point are pretty minimal.. I'll run it through photomatix later this morning after a bit more sleep.. hopefully it will come out a bit nicer...

Alex.

We had some good fog down here too, when I got home there was a lot of fast moving low cloud, then before I went o bed around one I took a look outside, it was very foggy.

Nice shots anyway, the HDR is ok, might need a little more experimentation, you might be onto something there, in the right scene it could look great.
