I hope the clouds clear enough to have a look tonight. I haven't been doing much astronomy lately... I've been busy placing 12 cubic metres of rock around the well to make it safe. It's taken 3 weeks after work and weekends, but the well is officially safe now. (And I'm over moving rocks!)

Next project will be getting the site ready for the POD, after which I'll be back in astromode!

No better here in Campbelltown either. Seems like it is just sitting there. Can't see any movement. It's laughing at me I tell you!!!!

Mars and Saturn are closest on the 14th, isn't it?

If someone had clear skies for 2 weeks it would make a great animation to see them photographed from the same location and see them closing in on each other.

The Mars-Saturn Conjunction is on the 11th and it is up on the Calendar.
Should be a good photographic opportunity !
