***SOLD*** Vixen VC200L plus options

For sale is a VC200L is great condition with plenty of extras availble if required.

This scope is 200mm F9 and, for those who do not know it, is a scope optimised for imaging with a very flat field hence its reputation as the poor man's RC. It also has an open tube which means you do not have problems with dew and a fixed mirror so there is no flop. A review can be found here:

http://www.vixenoptics.com/PDF/Vixen%20VC%20200L.pdf

My scope is about 2 years old and has been very well looked after and comes with the original packaging and manuals. It have a Vixen dovetail bar and will include a 50mm finder, flip mirror and 10mm and 20mm 1.25"eps.

Price is $1200 based on a pickup in Sydney.

Options available by negotioation are:

ADM rail and rings for top mounting a scope of up to 80mm.
Mercury Fine focus (5:1) system.
Vixen F6.3 Focal reducer
Vixen Direct wide photo adapter and Canon T-ring
Vixen M60 to M43 adapter
Vixen 200mm Light baffle.

I have attached a few images both of the scope setup and recent shots taken through it...

PM me if you are interested or want more details.

Robin, are you the luckiest one who grabbed it first? Congrats!!!

I'd wish John put it for sale a week ago before I ordered a new one

You should never rush into anything Mike, you just never know
To be honest, I was trying to transfer funds as a deposit on a new one from AO when the banks website timed out so I came here and saw it. Devine intervention maybe

ADM Rings?

Nice OTA sold here, I have the same .

Where do these rings and rail come from?

I have been hunting for a way of fixing my ED80 to the top of my VC200L using a dovetail!

Regards,
Dave.

Dave...the rings and rail come from ADM systems - it is called the MDS system, though designed for Meade scopes the rail for the 11" (iirc) has slots the right spacing for the VC200L. Have a look here:
