Glad to see this new series bringing back some of the classic monsters from the old series eg. Daleks, Autons Cybermen, Macra, The Master and apparently the Sontarans (Love the Sontarans) are returning in this upcoming season.
It seems to me that the return of Davros is pretty well obligatory and a foregone conclusion. Yes, I know that he's been killed off on numerous occasions but this IS Doctor Who after all and anything can happen.
Besides, when all is said and done, I think he is the best villian ever introduced in this show; a mutated bio mechanoid with an intellect that comes close to matching the Doctor himself but with a total lack of remorse or conscience motivated entirely by meglomania and steeped in hubris. What's not to like about that
Bring back Davros, I say. Bring him back! BRING HIM BAACCKK!!

Yes the Dr had a fight with his ethics should he destroy them knowing what they'd become in the end he couldn't so he sealed them underground for 1000 years. Well you really couldn't kill off such a evil foe could we!!!

Tom Baker really owned that part so well ..I think aside the changes in the
special effects these days ..line all the DRS up and Tom wouldstill be first
pick imo.

Anyone else want to build a dalek ..I started some years back but got a little sidetracked..same as building a telescope

theres lots more sites and plans these days I see.

I actually have a set of plans to build a Dalek as well. I haven't got around to it yet but hopefully I'll find some time one day.

I would like to fit some pedals, chain and gears to it, that way I could pedal around inside and freak out a few people.

Cheers

Setup a voice synthesizer in the dalek so that you can speak into it and sound like one!!!

I always had the idea of setting up the gun with a super soaker water pistol and then cruise through the city centre of Canberra one hot summers day and give everyone a squirt to cool them down and give them a laugh.

I think you can buy those ..with weaponry as well.

I must revisit these sites again ,lots of the build specs are not exactly
easy to duplicate..wonder if its changed a little.

I have a remote controlled Dalek scares the crap out of the dog and the wife doesn't like it either, she was scared of the Daleks as a kid.

Well obviously they are resonsible for a lot of nightmares.

I too also have plans for making a Dalek.

Its a real pitty that a lot of the Original William Harnell series were lost. The recreations are ok if you dont mind repeated photographs with voice overs. When I was a Kid i think mostly the Tom Baker series were being shown. But I went back and have seen almost every episode from the First pilot up to Peter Davidson The Visitation. But I also have followed the new Dr Who and i find it to be very good. I am waiting to see when the Master will return. Torchwood, and the Sarah Jane show are also quiet good spinoffs. Also the Face of Boh is it Captain Jack, the man who can not die. Also what happned to the Thal's?

Regards
Fahim

Yet another who must confess to having Dalek plans. A few people integrate the motors out of those handicapped carts so you can sit in them and ride around. A voice synthesizer as well and you in business.

Agreed - the episode was good, but Koylie never really leaned how to act....or sing.... and she's not looking 20 any more. Future episodes look terrific!
