Amazing to think there is so much particulate suspended in the air to scatter the light. Lovely, Doug!

I think that this is one of the reasons I like this type of stuff!
One of my childhood memories is that of the sun filtering through my bedroom window catching the dust in the air like this!

You are an old softi Doug, however they are pretty cool pic's, I quite like that sort of stuff.

Are there any tricks to capturing rays like this, or is it pretty much point and shoot?

Cheers!
Pretty much as you describe Rob...point and shoot.
Used the modded 40D so I had too find something white for a custom white balance before shooting.
