I’ve just returned indoors from a Lunar imaging session; Jupiter is quite high in the East right now, but not as high as the glorious Maroons! The seeing is fairly poor, although not as miserable as the NSW efforts of this wonderful evening.

Every time Queensland scored, an almighty roar filled the neighbourhood, with a tumultuous crescendo, making the Earth tremble beneath my feet thus affecting my tracking.

Bring on Game 3.

Queenslander!

Cheers

Dennis

I'm sorry to say but Origin is beginning to be a farce, NSW win when QLD played ordinary, QLD win when NSW play ordinary, game 3 will be a sellout....its all hype and money now.

Just got home from Suncorp.

It was what I imagine being in a car crash to be like...you know, where people talk about everything suddenly going into slow motion?

Bahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! What a nightmare.

But seriously, heaps of fun and really enjoyed myself despite the scoreline. Very exciting to be part of a crowd of more than 52 thousand.

Well done Queensland. Simply outplayed and out-enthused NSW in every department.

Would have been a better spectacle if the scoreline were closer, but them's the breaks.

The game reminded me of a statement to a question at a press conference that a past coach of the NFL Tampa Bay Buccuneers made...

When asked by a reporter about the execution of his team (after a particularly poor performance on the field) he responded...I am in favor of it.

I think that this might be applicable to Da Blues...a performance much more like the loveable losers Da Cubs...

When people were saying "Go the Blues", I thought it was in support... apparently the team took the advice and didn't show up.

Ouch – I felt H0ughy wince at that one!

It’s a bit like what’s the difference between a tooth pick and the NSW Origin Team? A toothpick has two points!
