anyone know where to get Solar Film from - suitable for sticking over the front of my LB 12" dob ?

and if I'd happened to read the previous thread entitled 'Sunspotter Scope' before posting, I would have found a whole Project article on this very subject - including details of a supplier etc - duh

I am pretty sure that York Optical has the solar film as.

Plan on spending an afternoon there if you go. They have a load of good stuff to look at.

I am like a kid in a lollie shop when I visit....

You'll probably only need a smaller diameter to get decent viewing.
