SOLD: Panoptic 19mm

For sale are:

Tele Vue Panoptic 19mm
$270 including postage within Aust (Bintel new $319)

Tele Vue Powermate 2.0x (2")
$320 including postage within Aust (Bintel new $379)

These are as new (approx 3 months old) with original endcaps & packaging/boxes.

Both items perform beautifully in my f/5 Dob, but selling due to lack of use (due to Nagler 5 & 13, and Pan 27). Also wanting to fund purchase of a larger format CCD camera.

Please send a PM if interested.

Cheers,
Jeff

TeleVue gear

I saw these two eyepieces yesterday when I reviewed them with Jeff. These look like they are brand new. If you want superlative looking TeleVue eyepieces in this size range these are a very good opportunity, as they look like they just came out of brand new packaging.

Rgds,
Astromelb.

Panoptic 19mm still available.

$215 including postage within Aust (30% below Bintel new price of $309).

AS NEW - spotless with original endcaps/packaging/box.
68° wide field with pinpoint stars from edge to edge (even in my f/5 scope).
Only selling because I seldom use this EP (as true FOV is within ~20% my Nagler 13mm).

Partial specs/description from Tele Vue are as follows:

Specifications:
Focal length: 19mm
Barrel Diameter: 31.7mm (1.25")
Apparent Field: 68°
Eye relief: 13mm
Field Stop Diameter: 21.3mm
Lens elements/grouping: 6/4
Weight: 180g

The Panoptic design is a great wide field alternative to the Nagler series. An excellent premium-quality medium to low power eyepiece.

The ED glass element offers very high contrast. An excellent eyepiece for galaxies, globular clusters and lunar surface detail.

Size, weight and performance make the 19mm an ideal mid power choice. Parfocal with 15mm and other smaller Plössls and Naglers.

Cheers,
Jeff
