IIS Outage?

Was it just me or has IIS been off the air for the last hour or so?

I was able to get at other sites OK but kept getting timeouts for IIS

I'm glad I wasn't the only one wondering what was going on. I found I was experiencing the same problem.

Hi Geoff,

Yeah, I couldn't get in for about 5mins, but all came good in the end
Other links were working, so could have been a gremlin or maintenance.

I hope there was a change record !

Not sure where IIS is hosted but there are a couple of US based sites that I can't get at right now.
Normally these sites, like IIS, are very rarely down for any reason without notice so it may be a network/hosting site issue.
All is well now and I've caught up on all the gossip.

T'was a router problem. 351 days without a hardware problem was pretty good I suppose.

And yes there are some US sites that are down. Like sourceforge.net that has been down for hours. I don't know why... but ya miss 'em when they're gone.

Sourceforge being down has been very annoying!

And the router problem happening right in the middle of executing some commands on the server was also annoying!
