Server timing out??

For some reason I can't log in to this site from home. I had no problems until sometime on the weekend after which I simply get a "server timed out" message. downforeveryoneorjustme.com obviously reported that it was just me, but I can't figure out the problem. All other sites work fine.

Any clues? I obviously haven't been banned.

There's no problems with the site, and obviously you can access it from elsewhere.

I'd suggest there's been some changes to your firewall or other local computer settings?

Are there any other computers in the house you can try it on?

I have had this occasionally, but it is not the IIS server that is the problem, it was my router for some reason.

I just pulled out the power on the router for a couple of minutes, plug it back in and give it a few minutes to reboot, and all was well again.

This has happened to me a number of times, and the procedure works every time.

However that is me, maybe you dont have a router.

Thanks guys. I didn't mean to imply that the IIS server was to blame; I assumed it had to be at my end somehow. I'll try resetting my router and see how that works. I certainly don't remember changing any firewall settings in the last few days.

it is amazing just how many problems the old "360 degree polarity test" will fix ( pull the plug out - turn it 360 degrees - then plug it back in)
