Great image Barb & Dave, the faint spiral extensions have come up a treat.

The colours look very natural as well.

A fine effort.

Hi Barb & Dave

A beautiful image – it really showcases the spiral structure of this galaxy, along with evoking the timeless feelings of it being an island, adrift in the vastness of space. Very nicely acquired, framed and processed.

Cheers

Dennis

Agree with all of the previous comment. Excellent looking galaxy with nice natural looking colours. You obviously had some good data to start with and it has been processed well. Well done!

Real nice Galaxy. Lovely colour and detail. Must have a go at it sometime soon. You have some great data behind this shot and could have probably cropped it a bitmore and maybe brought out more detail. Well done

Might want to try a 2", 2x barlow and see how you go.

Thanks Dennis we will probably try for a few longer exposures on this one to bring out even more detail when we get the chance

Thanks for the comments Doug. Like to crop a bit more but our guiding needed to be better that night.

Thanks for the kind words Andrew. Tried our Orion 2 x barlow but couldn't reach focus. Any ideas

Just building up the funds again to purchase the various cables that are required.

Not too much longer I hope.

Well you're getting closer Ric. There's sure a lot of extras to get up and running ... sometimes it seems never ending
