Have to agree there Doug, I can get a lot more done on a week night and not turn up to work with my eyeballs hanging out of their sockets.

Cheers

True words Doug

I'd like to retire at 55, go nocturnal and image to my hearts content but methinks my wife and bank manager might have something to say about that.

Sorry guys, daylight savings finished last week here, still getting to work with my eyes hanging out my head. Only difference being, I've got 8 more exposures to stack! YAY!

Same over here, and about time too, they have extended it at both ends, and it really is annoying now.

I dunno.. I won't like it when it gets light at 3:30am. And in the evening, with kids it's too hard to get setup and be ready to image at 6:30pm. Have to wait for them to be in bed, so dark at 7:30pm suited me

It's a southern event that causes your curtains to fade and the cows to stop milking

Have to admit Mike, I've sort of come around to your way of thinking . I'm finding that without daylight saving (only been one week since it ended) I'm missing out on an hour or so of images because I don't get the scripts running until about an hour after dark.

I guess I realise I can live with or without it, but moving between daylight saving and non-daylight saving takes some adjustment either way. Right now, I need to adjust so that I have the scripts ready the night before, to start as soon as it's dark on the next night.

(PS I will still be voting against it in the Referrendum here).

Roger.

I really like the idea of the sky getting dark at 6:30pm but I don't like the idea of it getting light at 3:30am.

See you take it off one end and it joins up with the other end, a no win situation, but it is good that it is dark early, cant wait till those frosty nights return.
