NGC 3201 (no borders or titles :-)

Another glob NGC 3201 again 3 min exposures and the 12 inch newt

no borders or other stuff this time, ill just go back to the vanilla flavoured item.

When i really stretch some of these items the cyan coulor comes out and its a bit of a pain to remove without killing all the blue colour, so this one might be a tad low in the saturation department.... more experimentation required.

I was enjoying this glob last night. I was struck by how large and bright it is. It is given surprisingly little popular attention. Hopefully the seeing will improve tonight and I can have another look. It has quite a pronounced light creaminess at the eyepiece, which has been picked up well in this image.
