help - what are the dimensions of the meade 16" lightbridge

those with a meade 16" lightbridge can you please tell me the fold down dimensions of the scope?

When I saw the boxes in Bintel Melbourne last year, they were pretty BIG!


Meade don't even give the box dimensions for the 16" on their sites? They do for the other sizes?

I think the base is 80.1 cm across dave ..the height I don't know.
You didn't look the one over at astrofest ?

To be honest no, i did take a picture of michael putting it together, but no measurements. It was out of my league at that stage and touching it would have only served to torment So if the base is 80cm round , would it be the same heightwithout the tube assembly?

No, height above ground whilst standing on its 3 feet is 63cm. Tube dia 40cm not including focuser etc.
