Saturn, Brisbane, Feb 21

Seeing wasn't too bad last night. A solid 6.5-7/10.

Unfortunately the moon was only 2 degrees away, so there's a bit of 'washout' in this one.

It's been so cloudy and rainy here for weeks..I was determined to capture 'something' when the opportunity presented itself.

This was taken with the ToUcam Pro, 3x barlow and C9.25.

Just a quick run through Registax4 and a few tweaks with PS7.

nice scale and great to see you haven't overprocessed it. This is a *** target to nail I reckon............seeing has to be so good to get the rings looking good. I am yet to get a really good saturn

amazing to think Qld let you guys see some stars...........what it has been 7 months or so??

I totally agree with what you're saying. To be completely honest, I don't think I've ever produced a Saturn image I've been really happy with. Not really happy, like I've been with some other targets. As you say, it's a bugger of a target, is ol' ringo!

Yeah. It's been a long while since we had really clear and steady skies. However, according to all the historical/statistical data, we're heading into the better months very shortly

looks good, im going to have another try at saturn before it moves on, i keep seeing all these good images.
