Hope you are back up to speed soon

If you remember back a bit...
To add insult to injury that cat probably reguritated endangered spiecies on your keyboard.
But seriously, talk about a harsh critic. I couldn't top that myself.

Hi All,
Alex,
Maybe an "el cheapo" USB keyboard would be an option.
Some of the computer places have them at crazy prices, if you don't mind the quality...

If you can use a cheapo USB keyboard with your laptop you'll once again have a voice!!!! I regularly spill vino collapso on mine, and I have bought replacement keyboards from Woolies(of all places) for around $20!!!!!!
All the best alexie!!!

You have my sympathy Alex. We have 3 felines here, and although they may take a walk over the keyboard now and then, they don't do things like that. (Think they know its more than their 9 lives are worth )
Grab an el cheapo from woolies in the morning, they work OK.

Comiserations
Bill

Hi Alex & All,

Can I borrow the cat?

With a talent like that, I've got a mission or two I want to send him on!

Best,

Les D

How unlucky is that Alex! You have my sympathy.

I'm sorry to all the cat lovers here, but that is the exact reason why I don't like cats. I won't go into too much detail why but if you think about it. A dog definately won't jump on your laptop and throw up on it, I could be wrong??? Just my opinion

Never mind that, what make and model is the cat?

I think it just wanted to make room for your mouse

Well I rushed from Sydney to Casino where they have some of the leading cat vomit cleaners in the world.. the lap top is intensive care and we will know mid nest week if it is dead or not... it was not looking good for the screen went next...anyways to add to the strangeness of little craetures I got up home to find a mouse had got into the 12 inch and bleed everywhere..there are staains that refuse to come off..so that was another thing sent to build my character...
The good thing is I got out under the Moon and tested the mount after its blueprinting..and short of a real graph to check it I must say it seems near perfect as far as PE goes and because my reticle has gone down as well I was not able to give it a PE train.. I was very very happy..getting unguided runs of 5 minutes with no signs of oval stars when the 300d was on the
15o ar (with 1200 mm focal length)...
I bought a "engraver kit" with polishing tools which did a great job polishing everything shoprt of a lap job... I am now a mount expert and can pull the unit down in under 5 minutes...
So one night driving all night and one night adjusting the gear...I am tired...
The grass is 2 foot high and will take a week to get bach to normal.

Anyways if the lap top is down for once I have cash to replace it so life is not too bad... I spoke to the cat and she says she does not know what came over her... but what were the odds..never never never do I leave the lap topopen I close it and have closed it after use every time..except this once..why did the cat throw up there and not on the floor..behind the lounge where ever ...
I had good look at the 12 inch and think I will stick iton the eq6 and try some deep sky with it... th mount sseems robust enought to handle it for tracking if I manually slew it.

My little doggie years ago, backed up to the speakers of my brand new stereo and shat all over them. I never could get the stain out of the cloth.

Alex,
My kitty upchucked twice in the house yesterday. I walked in it both times. The first time just before I had my shower and then again as I was getting dressed afterwards. Ewwww.
Definitely a sign of rotten bad luck 'cause my day just got worserer and worserer after that.

Pets are completely honest aren't they? What track was playing at the time?

Cheers
